We are going to change our wedding ballroom!

Err, i know it's a bit late to talk about changing ballrooms, as we are just 1 month plus away from our wedding date. But it's also coincidentally that the Grand Ballroom is still available on our AD! As such, our wedding coordinator offered the option of changing the ballroom for us; but on condition that we must reserve 28 + 2 tables for the transfer to be approved by the Management.  

On our side, we were not concerned with meeting the criteria for the tables, as our intention was to go for 20 plus tables for our friends and relatives. What we were concerned however, was the initial ambience for the cocktail reception. As the atrium lounge was located directly below the Vanda Ballroom, we wanted to tap on the live performance at the lounge area to create an ambience during cocktail. However, the down-side was that the Vanda Ballroom was small, and there was another issue with the low ceiling.

To re-affirm our stance on selecting the Grand Ballroom, we re-visited both ballrooms and found that the Grand Ballroom was much better in its ballroom layout, and had a longer march-in for us (hee hee, it's a once in a lifetime match afterall).

Let's hope that we made a right choice, and that our guests will enjoy the ballroom for its spacious layout. =)
