This must have been a hectic wedding year for many couples. Chin-Jie's wedding is the 3rd of the 5 weddings which I have attended this year... and each had its own uniqueness! That's why I resolve to write wedding articles for all the weddings which I have attended, you see! ~ All along, I had been looking forward to Chin-jie's wedding, mainly because her customary dinner was held at a hotel with a mystical yet fairy-tale like location... Goodwood Hotel! All along, I had a soft spot for the wedding venue, as it was located near my Secondary School and each time I pass by, I would be attracted by the 'cottage on the hill' feel. Unfortunately though, I could not be there for Chin-Jie's dinner as I had to attend a conference in KL that same day. The same situation happened during her ROM, as I was tied up with my examinations then. Really felt bad for not being there to share the happy moments, not once but twice! Nonetheless, I was glad to be around as her 'Jie-mei' that morning. In our pink dresses as the bridesmaid theme, we complimented Chin-Jie's beautiful gown, as the gown brought about a vintage feel with the mermaid cut. I felt that the gown cut accentuated Chin-jie's hourglass figure, and she looked real gorgeous in it! Snapshot of the 'Sisters' with Chin-Jie Our beautiful Bride in her beautifully pleated gown The haggling session was somewhat special, as we did not subject the groom to the usual 'sweet sour bitter hot' combination but rather, force the groom entourage to blow 'I love you' balloons with the height of a toddler! It was a fun yet thrilling moment to see the groom's face red expanding his lungs on the 2 balloons! In the midst of the haggling, Wei Siang was surprised to see that one of the 'brothers' was actually his camp mate! However, the irony was that the both of them recognize each other, but couldn't recall the names! =P The completed balloons! We had ample time for a DIY shoot! After the traditional praying session at the bride's place, we embarked on our journey to the groom's home, and I was privileged to be able to have a full view of the couple's bridal room! It was cosy, with the wedding photo display and the red 'xi' bedsheet livening the surrounding. I also had the opportunity to catch the loving couple in action, feeding each other with tang yuen! Our loving couple feeding each other with Tang Yuen Chin-Jie, me and Adeline! Looking forward to seeing Chin-jie's wedding dinner photos and montage when we meet soon, as I believed it could somewhat make up for missing the memorable evening personally.
