Okok,

I know the title must have sounded real strange; who's Sara and what has her proposal got to do at my wedsite?

Wei Siang posted this thread in my office email account: http://est1976.blogsome.com/2007/08/19/sara-and-i-just-got-engaged/

but somehow it got dumped under "junk". Until I decided to take a peek at this url.

It's really very sweet of this guy, George, from Chicago who decided to propose to his girlfriend Sara on 17 Aug. He didn't spell out how he did it, but made a video from the set-up, planning, preparation and finally the surprize.

After watching the video, I must say I am totally overwhelmed by his romantic and clever method of proposing to his girl! I am really touched! :-) Somehow it triggers back memories on how Wei Siang proposed to me earlier; and how I hope he can propose to me all over again.

Did you capture the last part when the girl was so touched that she gave George a tight hug? Sara seemed to be teary-eyed; probably she didn't anticipate that her fiance would use this occasion to tell her how much he truly loved her, and the dedication he made to everyone by kneeling with the wed ring (and his extraodinary masterpiece). Totally mind-blowing.

Though they may be strangers in my eyes, but it's really happy to see that George really know how special this moment is to his girl. Hope to spread this video around so that all brides-to-be can view it and reminiscence the touching moments when their fiances proposed to them.

Congrats George and Sara! All the way from Singapore :-)
