For all Vera Wang Designer Lovers out there, take special note! She will be presenting her bridal collection on 15 July, 2007 at the Goodwood Park Hotel!
Was flipping through the newly purchased June issue of HER WORLD BRIDE when I came across this article. I guess this is set to be the most-talked about wedding event of the year, as Vera Wang's bridal wear has been well-known to be internationally acclaimed. According to the article, the fashion show will feature Fall/Winter 2007 and Spring/Summer 2008 gowns from the Vera Wang Bridal, Bridesmaids and Lavender Label (evening wear) collection. Actually, after going through several Vera Wang gowns on brides.com, I really like their silhouttes and chiffon. Somehow, her slick tailoring seems to make the model looks slimmer and taller (or could it be because ang-mo models were used for modelling her gowns?? Hmm..) Anyway, her gowns were well known to be expensive... I guess I will never have a chance to wear them, sigh. Anyway, I just realised how expensive the fee for the wedding show! Can you imagine it costs $48 bucks per couple! Haha, but for the highlights (Bobbi brown makeup demonstration, chris ling photography, LaMer's massage) I guess it's pretty much worth it for those who yearn for a lavish wedding. That time when I had to fork out 30 bucks for the Oriental Wedding Show I could really feel the pinch! If not for their sumptuous buffet and mouth-watering buffet at their Melt the World Cafe else I would never believe how much these hoteliers earn from each wedding show! Haha, since the main topic here is on Vera Wang, maybe I can show you on a princess-style wedding dress which I extracted from Vera Wang's collection on www.brides.com Close up on the strapless ivory silk-tulle ball gown Glorious tulle gowns from Vera Wang
