I came across this website called LostMyRing.com.

It works like those websites that allows people to put online the phone IMEI for the phone that they have lost and allows people who found any mobile phones and IF they want to return, can refer to the list, and contact the person, or post an entry that a phone has been found and wait for the owner to claim it.

In this case it is wedding rings we are talking about and it really does sounds a bit funny and foolish initially, but hey, think of it this way: perhaps unlike mobile phones, the person who picks up a wedding ring might not feel that comfortable to wear someone else's wedding band that does not engrave his / her own and since we are talking about wedding and love here, I guess everyone respects it so much that they will try to help one and other - who don't like happy endings in fairy tales, where the princess and Shrek lives happily ever after?
